AsbestosWaste.ie is operated by RILTA Environmental Limited and provides a range of asbestos management services, from the supply of asbestos packaging to the transport and authorised disposal of all asbestos waste.
All asbestos must be transported under a C1 Form. Haulier must have relevant waste collection permits.
Asbestos must be handled and packaged according to the Health and Safety Guidelines for Carriage of Asbestos and Asbestos Waste by Road. Please refer to the HSA website (www.hsa.ie) for further information on these guidelines.
AsbestosWaste.ie specialise in the transport and disposal of the following:
- 17 06 01* insulation materials containing asbestos (sources: boilers, gaskets and lagging)
- 17 06 05* construction materials containing asbestos (sources: roof sheeting, slates, guttering, water pipes)
Our Services include:
- National Waste Collection Permit WCP-DC-09-1192-01
- All drivers are HazChem and Safe Pass trained
- Container hire and transport
- Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors available for site visits prior to or during waste removal and for annual consultancy work.
Asbestos Packaging, Pre and Equipment Testing
AsbestosWaste.ie supply packaging and PPE for the asbestos industry including:
- Polythene 250 micron (1000 gauge)
- UN approved FIBCs
- UN approved red and clear asbestos bags
- Disposable overalls (red, blue and white) (Type 3+4 & Type 5+6)

- Full and half face masks and filters
